Terms

Effective: September 28, 2026

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of WebManagers.com, the Web Managers Portal (the "Portal"), and the courses, templates, community spaces, and other materials offered through them (together, the "Services"). The Services are operated by WMG Enterprises, LLC ("WebManagers.com," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, purchasing a product, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it, and "you" includes that organization.

2. Accounts and Access

Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a purchase. The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current, including a working email address. Each account belongs to one person. Sharing login credentials or allowing others to use your access is not permitted. Organizations that want to train several people should contact us about team access.

Account security. You are responsible for keeping your password and any authentication codes confidential and for all activity under your account. We recommend a password manager and two-factor authentication. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us without delay.

Support access. We access your Portal account for troubleshooting only when you ask us to, and we record each instance.

3. Courses and Learning Materials

License. When you purchase a product or subscribe, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the courses and materials for your own learning and for managing your own organization's web presence.

Access period. Courses purchased individually or in a bundle include access for as long as that course remains offered through the Portal. If we retire a course, we will give reasonable advance notice by email and, where the material is downloadable, allow you to download your copy before access ends. An annual subscription provides access to the included catalog during each paid term.

Updates. Courses are reviewed on a quarterly cadence, and we may add, revise, or remove lessons as tools and standards change. Updates to a course you already own are included at no additional charge.

4. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Refunds

Prices and payment. Prices are shown at checkout in U.S. dollars. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor, and we do not store your full card number.

Subscriptions. The annual subscription renews automatically each year at the then-current price until you cancel. We will email you a reminder before each renewal. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting us, and your access continues through the end of the paid term.

Taxes. Prices exclude applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where required.

Refunds. The refund terms for each product appear on its checkout page, and where a page states a refund period, that period governs. Questions about a charge should go to billing department contact us.

Price changes. We may change prices for future purchases at any time. A price change for an existing subscription takes effect at its next renewal, and we will give at least 30 days' notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Services lawfully and in keeping with their purpose. You agree not to:

  • Share, resell, sublicense, or redistribute course content, templates, or other materials, except as the Permissions page allows.

  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content from the Services, including to build or train an artificial intelligence model or a competing product.

  • Circumvent access controls, share paid access with people who have not purchased it, or interfere with the operation of the Services.

  • Probe, scan, or test the security of the Services without our prior written authorization.

  • Upload malware or other harmful code.

  • Post content that is unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or infringing, or use community spaces for spam or unsolicited promotion.

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.

6. Your Content

Community posts, comments, quiz responses, and other material you submit ("Your Content") remain yours. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process Your Content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Services. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

Please do not post passwords, account credentials, or confidential client information in community spaces, and remove sensitive details from any screenshot before you share it. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without obligation to you.

7. Intellectual Property and Permissions

The Services and their materials, including the book Strategic Web Management, course lessons, worksheets, templates, graphics, and the WebManagers.com name and logo, are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Your Content is excluded.

Templates and worksheets you download may be adapted for your own organization's internal use, but they may not be resold or republished. Quoting, excerpting, reprinting, and press use are covered on the Permissions page.

If you believe material on the Services infringes your copyright, send a notice that identifies the work, states where the material appears, gives your contact information, includes a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized, and includes a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rights holder, with your signature. Submit notice via contact us page. We may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

8. Data Storage and Subprocessors

The Portal holds account details, course progress, and any files or messages you submit. This section describes where that data is kept, how it is protected, who helps us handle it, and how long it stays. The Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why.

8.1 Where your data is stored. The Portal runs on a hosted platform whose infrastructure is provided by Amazon Web Services. Its data centers restrict physical access through multi-factor entry, surveillance, and staff screening, and they use redundant power, climate control, and fire suppression so that service continues when a component fails. The Services are operated from the United States. By using them, you consent to the storage and processing of your data in the United States and in any other country where our subprocessors operate, subject to the safeguards described in the Privacy Policy.

8.2 Encryption and access controls. Data is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS) and encrypted at rest. Uploaded files are encrypted with per-file keys, and those keys are held in a separate secure vault. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and two-factor authentication is available. Role-based permissions limit what each user can see; other users can open your items only when those items have been specifically shared with them.

8.3 Backups and recovery. Our platform provider backs up databases hourly and backs up files automatically after upload. Backups are encrypted, stored in a physically separate environment, and kept for a maximum of 30 days. The provider tests recovery procedures on a regular schedule.

8.4 Subprocessors. We engage third-party service providers ("subprocessors") that handle personal data on our behalf. We use only providers that meet our security and confidentiality standards, and we bind them to protect the data they handle. They fall into the following categories:

Category

Purpose

Data involved

Cloud infrastructure

Hosting, storage, and backup of the Portal

Account details, course progress, files, messages

Payment processing

Processing purchases and subscriptions; card details go directly to the processor and are not stored on Portal servers

Name, billing details, transaction records

Email delivery

Sending account notices, receipts, course reminders, and newsletters

Name, email address, message content

Customer support

Receiving and answering support requests

Name, email address, support messages

Analytics

Measuring how the website and Portal are used

Usage data, device and browser information

A list naming each current subprocessor is available on request contact us.

8.5 Changes to subprocessors. We will update this section when we add a new category of subprocessor, and we will notify account holders by email of material changes.

8.6 Retention and deletion. We keep your Portal data while your account is active. When you cancel or your account closes, your access ends and your content becomes inaccessible. We then delete it from active systems within twelve (12) months, and residual copies held in routine backups are overwritten in the ordinary course. You may ask us to delete your data sooner by submitting a request on our contact us page. Records that the law requires us to keep, such as tax and accounting records, are retained for the required period.

8.7 Security incidents. If we become aware of a security incident that affects your data, we will notify you without undue delay at the email address on your account, in line with applicable law. Keeping that address current is your responsibility.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy is part of these Terms. It describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information, and the choices you have.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Educational content. The courses, book, templates, and other materials provide general educational guidance about managing web assets. They are not legal, financial, security, or other professional advice. Privacy, accessibility, and email laws differ by location and change over time, so consult a qualified professional about your own circumstances. You remain responsible for decisions about your own systems; before changing DNS records, email settings, or hosting on a live site, back up the current configuration.

As is. THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not promise that the Services will be uninterrupted or error free.

Limitation of liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

Our materials refer to third-party tools, vendors, and websites. Prices, features, and availability change frequently, so verify current details with the provider before you buy or rely on them. We do not control third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms. If we receive compensation for a recommendation, we will say so.

12. Suspension and Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your use creates a security or legal risk, if the law requires it, or if a payment fails, and we will give notice where feasible. When access ends, your license ends with it, and sections that by their nature should continue, including Sections 6, 7, 10, and 14, will continue. If we terminate your account for breach, no refund is owed except where the law requires one.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and, for material changes, email account holders at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. If a dispute arises, please submit via our contact us page first, and both parties agree to negotiate in good faith for at least 30 days. Any dispute not resolved that way will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

15. General Terms

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any terms stated on a product's checkout page are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, though payment obligations are not excused. We may send notices to the email address on your account or post them on the Services.

16. Contact

Questions about these Terms may be submitted via our contact us page or by mail to WMG Enterprises, LLC - 1440 Beaumont Ave, A2 #126, Beaumont, CA 92223. Other topics are listed on the Contact page.
