Privacy

Effective: September 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information WebManagers.com collects, why we collect it, how it is stored and shared, and the choices you have. It applies to WebManagers.com, the Web Managers Portal, and The Web Managers Podcast (together, the "Services"), operated by WMG Enterprises, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). It is part of our Terms of Use, and Section 8 of those Terms describes our subprocessors and data storage in more detail.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you create an account, purchase a course, subscribe to a newsletter, or contact us, we collect your name, email address, billing address, and payment details. Payment details are collected and stored by our payment processor, not by us; we receive only a confirmation and the last four digits of the card used.

Information from using the Services. As you use the Portal, we collect your course progress, quiz results, community posts, comments, and support messages. If you use a form on our site, we collect what you submit.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our analytics providers automatically collect device and browser type, IP address, pages visited, and how long you spend on them, through cookies and similar technologies. See Section 6 for your choices about cookies.

Information from third parties. If you sign in through a third-party service, or if someone refers you to us, we may receive your name and email address from that source.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

  • Create and maintain your account and deliver the courses and materials you purchase

  • Process payments and send receipts

  • Send account notices, course updates, and, if you opt in, newsletters and promotional email

  • Respond to support requests and permissions inquiries

  • Maintain community spaces, including moderating content that violates our Terms

  • Measure how the Services are used so we can improve them

  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents

  • Comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting recordkeeping

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your course content or private messages to train artificial intelligence models.

3. How We Share Information

Subprocessors. We share information with the service providers described in Section 8 of our Terms of Use, including our cloud infrastructure host, payment processor, email delivery provider, customer support tools, and analytics provider. Each is bound to protect your information and to use it only to provide their service to us.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information when required by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena or court order, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of WebManagers.com, our users, or the public. We will notify you of a legal request for your data unless we are prohibited from doing so.

Business transfers. If WebManagers.com is acquired, merges with another organization, or sells its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy or a policy with equivalent protections.

With your direction. If you post in a community space, that content is visible to other members as the space's settings describe. We do not otherwise share your information with other users.

4. Data Storage, Retention, and Security

Where and how your data is stored, the security measures protecting it, and how long we keep it are described in Section 8 of our Terms of Use. In summary: data is encrypted in transit and at rest, held on infrastructure provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) / Google, and retained while your account is active. When you cancel, your data becomes inaccessible immediately and is deleted from active systems within twelve months, aside from residual copies in routine backups and records we must keep by law.

4.1 Data Storage and Third-Party Cloud Providers

We utilize third-party cloud infrastructure and hosting services to store and process your data securely. Your personal information is stored on secure servers managed by the following industry-leading providers:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): We use AWS for our primary cloud hosting, data infrastructure, and storage needs. Personal data collected through our services may be transferred to and stored on AWS servers located in the United States. For more information on how AWS handles your data, please see the Amazon Web Services Privacy Notice.

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) / Google: We utilize Google's cloud infrastructure and services for secure database management, file storage, and backup systems. Your data may be processed on Google servers located globally. For more information on Google's data handling practices, please review the Google Privacy Policy.

Security of Stored Data
Both Amazon and Google maintain rigorous security certifications (including ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 1/2/3, and PCI DSS) and use industry-standard encryption protocols (such as AES-256) to protect your data both in transit and at rest. We restrict access to this stored data strictly to authorized personnel and automated systems necessary to provide our services to you.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you as described in Section 8.7 of our Terms.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Access and correction. You can review and update most of your account information from your account settings at any time.

Deletion. You may ask us to delete your personal information by submitting a Privacy request via our contact us page. We will delete it within the timeframe described in Section 8.6 of our Terms, except where the law requires us to retain it.

Marketing email. You can unsubscribe from promotional email using the link in any such message, or by request on our contact page. You will still receive account and course related notices tied to a product you own.

California and other state privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion, to correct it, or to opt out of certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, submit a Privacy request via our contact us page, and we will verify your identity before responding.

European and UK visitors. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, and portability of your personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Our legal basis for processing is generally your consent, the performance of our contract with you, or our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Services.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, to understand how the Services are used, and, where you have consented, to measure the effectiveness of our marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. Turning off cookies may affect how parts of the Services work, including staying signed in to the Portal.

7. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International Visitors

The Services are operated from the United States. If you access them from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and in any other country where our subprocessors operate, as described in Section 8.1 of our Terms. We take steps to apply appropriate safeguards to that transfer consistent with applicable law.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify account holders by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Services after that date means you accept the revised Policy.
