Who it's for
Most people managing a website never applied for the job. Someone left, someone said "you're good with computers, right?", and a decade of logins, renewals, and unanswered questions landed on your desk. This account is built for that person: the office manager who inherited the site, the founder doing it after hours, the career-changer who wants the operational side, and the volunteer holding a nonprofit's web presence together with no budget.
You do not need to be technical. You need a place to keep track of what your organization owns online, a plan for the first ninety days, and tools that tell you what to do next. That is what is inside.
What you get when you register
Every worksheet, free to download
All twenty-six companion worksheets from Strategic Web Management, from the M1.1 Self-Assessment Scorecard to the M18.1 First 90 Days plan, in printable form. The worksheet for each episode of The Web Managers Podcast and the checklists from the blog live here too, so a link in the show notes or a post leads to the same account.
Interactive tools that save your work
The worksheets also run as interactive forms inside the portal. Your entries save to your account rather than to one browser, so the domain audit you start at the office is still there when you open it at home. Totals, flags, and dates calculate as you fill them in.
Access to three web management courses
Private access to three Web Managers courses, included with your account.
A library that keeps growing
New resources join the portal as the Web Managers Series expands. Your account picks them up automatically.
A note from Bryan
I have spent more than twenty years cleaning up websites that nobody was officially in charge of. The pattern is almost always the same: capable people, no inventory, and no plan, until something expires or breaks on a Friday afternoon. Everything in this portal exists to break that pattern early. Start with the self-assessment, then the inventory. The rest follows in order.
You may not have applied for this job, but you can absolutely do it.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Creating an account costs nothing, and no credit card is required. The worksheets, the Field Workbook, and the interactive tools are included.
Do I need the book?
No. The worksheets follow the book chapter by chapter, but each one stands on its own, and the podcast and blog link to the same tools. If you have the book, the portal is where its worksheets come alive.
What happens after I register?
You'll get an email to confirm your address and set a password. Once you sign in at my.webmanagers.com, the welcome page points you to the first step: the Web Manager Self-Assessment Scorecard.
Can someone else at my organization use the same account?
Each person should register with their own email address. That way, if someone leaves, the work stays with the organization instead of walking out the door with one login, which is the same advice the book gives for every account you manage.
Is my data private?
Your entries are stored in your account and are not shared with anyone. See the Privacy Policy for the details.
